What is the Genesis Theme?

One of our favorite theme companies is Studio Press!  And the way Studio Press works is that it has a parent theme and a child theme.  Genesis is the ‘parent’ theme.  It’s the one that controls the overall structure of your WordPress site.  The ‘child’ theme contains all the colors and customizations.  The great thing about parent/child theme frameworks, is that it makes it very easy to update.
